Most quality disputes on melamine faced plywood are decided by facts that were available before the container was sealed: face adhesion, thickness, moisture content, surface defects and decor consistency. A structured inspection at the factory is the cheapest form of quality control available to a buyer.

Inspect across the batch, not only from the top of the stack. Draw panels from different positions in the pack and from more than one pallet, and check that the panel identity and decor code match the order. Where a decor is critical, compare against the retained reference sample rather than against memory.
Photograph everything. Time-stamped photographs of thickness readings, edge inspection and any defect raise the quality of any later discussion and reduce the risk of a dispute turning on memory.
Practical inspection involves examining cut edges for lifting or bubbling and checking adhesion at the edge. Formal bond quality is established through the specified test methods and reported in the supplier's documentation.
